Black Frames
Self published book, 2020 The idea for this project has been in the back of my mind for quite some time. After showing us Day for Night by Truffaut, my art school professor was discussing film conventions and scene transitions and pointed out the moments when the screen goes completely dark to achieve an invisible cut. Since then I’ve always paid attention to those black frames when watching movies and have been interested in how, although everything is dark, you perceive a situation, an object, or a feeling. 36 pages, printed on 90gsm book wove cream paper, paperback cover with flaps, 148x210 mm
